FAQ's
Is every organization need to apply for EPFO registration?
- Any establishment whose total strength is 10 or more and in a few states number is 20 or more.

Do Any monthly returns need to be submitted for ESI registration?
Yes, on or before the 15th of the next month you need to submit the monthly contributions for the month.
How much ESI Contribution?
The employer and employee both have to contribute:
- Employer – 4.75% of the salary
- Employee – 1.75% of the salary
Do all Employees need to register for ESI?
- No, Only those employees who earn a total salary of 21000 or less per month need to register for ESI.
- Those who earn more than 21000 per month are not mandatory to get registered but an increase in between the contribution period and increased salary needs to apply for the remaining contribution period.
What is meant by the contribution period?
- April 1st to 30th September – 1st period and
- 1st October to 31st March – 2nd Period
